| Overview |
This course provides candidates the necessary competencies to operate and maintain a backhoe or loader with relevance to the civil construction industry. Training covers skills and knowledge in planning and preparing for backhoe/loader operations, conducting machine pre-operational checks, operating backhoe/loader, loading, carrying and placing materials, selecting, removing, and fitting attachments, relocating the backhoe/loader, carrying out machine operator maintenance, and clean up. |

| Training Method | Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications. |
| Course Delivery | Training and assessment for conducting backhoe/loader operations are offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training services on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment for training. |

Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued. |
