Overview |
This course incorporates competencies required in all rudimentary scopes of scaffolding, including the use of modular or pre-fabricated scaffolds, cantilevered materials hoists with a maximum working load of 500kg, ropes and gin wheels, safety nets and static lines, and bracket scaffolds. Training covers scope of work to assess task and to identify potential workplace hazards, selecting and inspecting plant and equipment according to procedures and site information, setting up task, and erecting and dismantling scaffold and scaffold equipment according to appropriate standards and procedures. |
Who Will Benefit | This course is suitable for personnel who are required to learn basic scaffolding. |
Prerequisites |
Although there are no set training prerequisites for this course, candidates must be able to meet at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills due to the nature of the training. |

Training Method | Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications. |
Course Delivery | Training to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at basic level is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment for training. |
Completion Award |
Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued. |
