Overview |
This course provides candidates the necessary knowledge and skills to operate and utilise portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, and fire blankets. Training covers operational safety and risk management, emergency response, fire types and classifications, fire theory, fire extinguisher types and their use, relevant WHS and workplace policies and procedures, hose reels and fire blankets, inspections and testing. |
Who Will Benefit | This course is suitable for fire protection equipment service technicians who are responsible for demonstrating how to interpret and follow manufacturers’ instructions when using various first attack firefighting equipment during emergency situations. |

Training Method | Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications. |
Course Delivery | Training and assessment to demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment. |
Completion Award |
Upon successful completion of this unit, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. |
