Overview |
This course provides the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate a vehicle loading crane with a capacity of 10 metre tonnes or more. Training covers planning work, conducting routine checks, setting up crane, transferring load, applying load estimation and slinging techniques to move a load, and shutting down and securing crane. |
Who Will Benefit | This course is suitable for personnel who are required to work with or operate vehicle-loading cranes (with a capacity of 10 metre tonnes or above) within the civil construction or resources industries. |
Prerequisites |
Candidates must be 18 years old and above. Banksman or dogging training is also recommended. If the operator is to drive the crane on the road, a Medium Rigid (MR class) or Heavy Rigid (HR class) licence is also required. |

Training Method | Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications. |
Course Delivery | Training to operate a vehicle loading crane with 10 metre tonnes and above capacity is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment for training. |
Completion Award |
Upon successful completion of this unit a Statement of Attainment will be issued. |
