| Overview |
This course equips candidates with the skills and knowledge required to efficiently provide first aid response to a casualty. Training covers responding to an emergency situation, applying appropriate first aid procedures, communicating details of the incident, and evaluating the incident and own performance. |
| Who Will Benefit | This course applies to all workers from various industries, especially those who may be required to provide first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. |
| Prerequisites |
There are no prerequisite units to this course, however, language, literacy, numeracy and employability skills are essential to perform successfully during training. |

| Training Method | Training is a combination of theory familiarisation and practical applications. |
| Course Delivery | Training and assessment to provide first aid is offered at our Clark campus in the Philippines. We also deliver training services on site upon arrangement or provided that there are suitable infrastructure and equipment. |
| Completion Award |
Upon successful completion of this unit, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. |
